Secured Investment Contracts

The topic of today is Secured Investment Contracts.  What are they?  They are in short corporate bonds issued by a company similar to a government bond, except that it is for a company.  They are very high yield when they are paid back, if they are paid back assuming the company doesn't go under.  So if you chose to invest in a Secured Investment Contract know the risk and be willing to part with your money if it doesn't work out.
